THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION IN ZULFI HELD A PANEL DISCUSSION ENTILTED "THE FORMS OF VILIFIED MANNERS"

The College of Education in Zulfi held a panel discussion entitled "The Forms of Vilified Manners". In cooperation with the Center of Guidance and Student Counseling, the Guidance and Academic Counseling Unit at the College of Education in Zulfi held a panel discussion entitled "The Forms of Vilified Manners", which was presented by Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Ahmed Al Olaiwi, Associate Professor of jurisprudence, and Dr. Mohammed Sayed Shehata, Associate Professor of Hadith & its science. The discussion was attended by a number of the faculty members, the College Vice Dean for Student Affairs as well as a large number of students. Dr. Mohammed Sayed Shehata, the Head of the Guidance and Academic Counseling Unit, first welcomed the audience, and then talked about the dangers of vilified manners on individuals, society, and the students seeking knowledge; then, he mentioned a number of manners vilified by Islam. Moreover, Dr. Al Olaiwi talked about such vilified manners as gossips and rumors that spread among many people via social media; he also mentioned the dangers of cheating in exams and staying up too late that causes the missing of Islamic Ordinances, especially the dawn prayer. After that, the students mentioned a number of reprehensible manners vilified by Islam, such as cursing, mocking others, the lack of interest in seeking knowledge on the part of students, and negligence of Al Jama'a Prayer (Congregation Prayer). At the end, the Head of the Guidance and Academic Counseling Unit, Dr. Mohammed Shehata, concluded the discussion by thanking the university, the College, the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Center of Guidance and Student Counseling for providing such panels, and expressed his thanks to the audience and to Dr. Al Olaiwi for his lectures, in particular.
