His Excellency, the University Rector Inaugurated the electronic system for operation and maintenance in the meeting room in his office. In his office, the inaugurated programs began of the speech of the General Director of Operating and Maintenance, Mr. Othman bin Hamad Al-Essa. In his speech, he welcomed and thanked the University Rector. The inaugurated programs began by the speech of the General Director of Operating and Maintenance, Mr. Othman bin Hamad Al-Essa, he welcomed and thanked the University Rector for his concern, following up and providing the operating and maintenance department and its potential needs. Also, he thanked His Excellency the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, for his continuous following up and permanent instructions about the operation and maintenance department schedule.
After that, His Excellency the Vice Rector, Dr. Muslim Al Dosari thanked the employees of the operating and maintenance department for their great efforts. He pointed out that the need of modifying the work, in the management department, to become electronic work which get along with the university level work. He pointed out that this system is as a start of the systems which will be applied in the administration. Then, Mr. Abdul Salam Souayah ,one of the employees of the operating and maintenance department, explained in detail the communications system in the administration. Also he indicated the system goals and its services, which in turn facilitates the process of communications between various sections of the university, the general administration for operation and maintenance, and the stages of applying of the system to be beginning from coding all buildings, offices and university facilities in addition to facilitate the reach of information to achievement and assessment stage, and it has been presented a number of statistics and numbers and percentages that explain the Department's work daily, weekly and monthly and the percentage of achievement. After that, the University Rector inaugurated the system then thanked the administration for the achievements of the operation and maintenance department, wishing this continuous and multiplied efforts
He also thanked the General director of Maintenance and Operation Department, Mr. Othman bin Hamad Al-Issa for his effort and following up and interest, it has been lionized the Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Omar Mutaiha, and the deanship for their effort and the facilities in the applying system of the operation and maintenance.
