Mission Of Committee Of Class Schedule And External Cooperation For Education

 The missions of this committee are described in the following:

1. Evaluating the general framework that has been set for making class schedules in all faculties, completing the incomplete schedules and submitting them to the faculties to work according to them.   

2. Receiving the class schedules from the faculties periodically, right before the tests of every semester, for the following semester. Faculties must inform this committee about any changes may occur whether before the start of the academic term or during it. The committee must study these changes according to workload standards for those who are full timers. Those who have some other duties to fulfill will be reconsidered when given teaching or training hours.

3. Studying any remarks that may come clear while revising schedules in terms of workloads and identifying some justifications and reasons behind that. Later, they will be discussed with the president of the university in cooperation with Following-up Administration.

4. Achieving a balance in distributing workloads among teaching staff putting into consideration students' interest and curriculums.

5. Studying the faculties' requests for external cooperation and for requests to be connected with the class schedules of the teaching staff in the faculty. This would be according to the need of the faculty. Faculties must submit their requests attached with class schedules for external cooperation to this committee before the start of tests in the present semester. There are consequences for late submission.   

6. Studying the faculty urgent requests for external cooperation, and submitting them one by one to the University President.

7. Studying faculty requests for extra lecturers for some teaching staff as there is a need for that. This would be applied within the class schedules in the faculties and departments. 

8. Assigning some teaching staff, who share the same specialization but from a different faculty, some lectures to do especially in the near places that do not require any transportation between centers and other areas.

9. The committee has the right to ask anyone for assistance in different discussions and specific sessions.
