The Biology Department is an important scientific pillar in the College of Education with a total capacity of 264 regular students in the academic year 1435-1436. The Department has been established in 1417, and 13 classes have graduated from it until the academic year 1434-1435. There are various courses taught in the department including botany, zoology, microbiology and environment. The department is considered a connection of middle and secondary school. It tries to further apply what students have learned during their early school study of biology and help them polish their skills in biology in addition to preparing those students to graduate studies.
