Tasks :
* Assist male and female students to know himself/herself through recognizing his/her capabilities, readiness, inclinations, and skills, in addition to understand the problems faced whatever they are.
* Assist male and female students to understand his/her physical and social environment, and what it does have of potentials, shortages, and make use of his/her self-potential, as well as the available potentials in his/her environment; to identify realistic goals in his/her grasp and the proper planning to achieve these goals.
* Development of the capacity of male and female students to take decisions. Achieve the student’s mental health and the contribution to assist and train him/her to solve problems by themselves.
* Development of the capacity of the student on dialogue, consultation, and expressing opinion freely and responsibly. Link the student with his/her community in order to develop his/her positive social personality.
* Provide the student with the ability to change for the better, and adapt to the unexpected changes. Assess the educational extra-curricular services addressed to male and female students.
* Activate the students’ activities. The participation of male and female students in taking decisions through the dissemination of the culture of dialogue, student advisory councils, and activate the roles of these councils in the college.
* Identify the future needs of male and female students in the overall vision of the college, as well as its future aspirations. Follow-up the academic performance for all students continuously through the course materials makers, heads of departments and soliciting of academic stumbling.
* Study of academic stumbling and handle it individually. Study the cases of students which require psychological and social services, or financial support and the assistance in overcoming these problems, either directly through the College administration or the referral to professionals in coordination with the relevant authorities in the university.
* Hold seminars and necessary sessions in order to develop the students’ achievable, intellectual, and interactive skills, to grow the concept of positive personality and push them to progress academically and personally.
* Provide career consultations and guidance for students and apprise them of the employment opportunities, and enhance their ability to choose by availing the experienced faculty members, in addition to invite the professionals and host the interested of employers.
* Help fresh students in the college to adapt and engage in the educational atmosphere of the college fast and accessible through introduced them to the services of the Unit, as well as meeting their needs.
