In response to the faculties members’ requests, and under the guidance of HE the Vice-Rector, and the Dean of e-learning and distance learning, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, the Scientific Committee of the award has extend participation period for the first five categories, namely:
- Category of excellence in digital courses,
- Category of excellence in designing learning objects "LOs",
- Category of excellence in research and studies in e-learning,
- Category of excellence in the use of social networks and using them in academic teaching,
- Category of excellence in quality programs in e-learning,
So, that the reception period expires on Thursday on 29th / 12/1435 With no change in the date of participation in 6th and 7th Categories which are the Category of excellence in the use of e-learning management system at the university, and the Category of excellence in student participation in e-learning.
The Vice-Dean for Development and Quality Dr. Ali bin Hamoud Al-Harbi confirmed that the extended period of participation reception is a step to give the opportunity and allow the largest possible number of colleges and faculty members, pointing out that this award aims to encourage excellence and innovation in e-learning, and appreciation of the distinguished ones in it, and contribute to the development of e-learning at the university through research and studies that deal with it, the development of the faculty members and students capability of in the field of e-learning, and sharing experiences and disseminating the best practices in e-learning.
