The University volleyball team qualified for the semi-final in the sporting federal tournament for Saudi universities football after it won the first place among its group after winning four consecutive matches without any any loss. In fact, previously the university team beat the teams of Taif University, Imam Mohammad Bin Saud University and Nanjran University. Also, in the final game that was held in Shari’a the university team beat the team of Shari’a University 3-0. The University volleyball team was represented by Nayef Aleisa, Waleed Albasri, Fallah Alzeedan, Abdullah Aljarwan, Abdulrahman Alateeq, Ahmad Alassaf, Ahmad Alateeqi, Ahmad Alassaf, Ahmad Alrasheedi, Abdullah Alkhaleel, Abdulaziz Altayyar and Abdullah Aleseimi. On the technical level, the university was represented by the national coach Mohammad Alhaddab, and on the administrative level Mr. Naseer Alhanou and Mr. Abdulaziz Alkhalaf. Qualifying for the semi-final is regarded a fruit out of deep concern and continuous support the university teams receive from his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Almuqrin and his Excellency the University vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohammad Alrokban as well as his Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs. The competitions of the semi-final will be held during the second semester of this academic year. In fact, the university team will play three games, and after that it will qualify, Allah willing, for the final volleyball game. This was mentioned by the supervisor of sporting and scouting activities and the general supervisor of the university teams Mr. NAser Alhanou who and all members of the university delegation gifted this qualification to the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad abdullah Alghemeizi the first supporter of the team through his directives, support, and follo-up. Mr. Alhanou extended his thanks and appreciation to all memoers of the volleyball university delegation of the two techcal and administrative teams as well as players for their constant efforts and concerns to present the university volleyball team in a very great manner that will honor the university in this event.
