Course Overview
This course introduces students to the basic principles of English Grammar within both the simple and compound sentence frameworks. This is carried out by teaching them the main parts of speech, the simple tense forms, the modals, the comparative/superlative forms, the possessive case (pronouns, adjectives, possessive “’s”), the noun forms and time expressions. Learning is reinforced through oral and written drills.

Upon successfully completing this this course , students will be able to :
Demonstrate comprehension and correct usage of specified grammatical concepts in both oral and written form .
Recognize specific grammar mistakes in writing and correct them
Use correctly articles, prepositions, pronouns.
Analyze grammar patterns and choose those most appropriate for writing tasks.
