General Administration of University Security:

Overview:

The Administration seeks to create a comprehensive security system and develop it continuously, preserve lives and property and maintain order and discipline.

Organizational affiliation:

Linked to the Vice-Rector for Development and Investment.

Providing excellent and high-quality security services to university employees and visitors.

Mission:

Commitment to values, raising awareness of contributing to preserving the university's gains and properties, and achieving security.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Providing security and protection for lives and property of the university buildings and facilities located within the university's geographical areas.

• Regulating the movement of traffic in the corridors and parking lots in the university yard and its affiliated colleges.

• Issuing entry permits to all university employees and visitors.

• Developing an integrated work plan, including monitoring the entry and exit of university visitors and employees.

• Developing the necessary security and traffic plans to organize university celebrations and events.

• Direct coordination with civil defense, police and other relevant authorities in cases that cannot tolerate delay and informing the university administration of this immediately.

• Preparing the necessary plans to cooperate with the relevant authorities inside and outside the university to receive emergency medical cases to government hospitals in coordination with hospitals and the Ministry of Defense.

• Placing security and traffic awareness signs.

• Developing field work related to improving the performance and submitting proposals to improve the level of performance.

• Studying, developing and updating the university's security systems.

• Managing all security operations to prevent accidents.

• Conducting initial investigations into problems and incidents occurring at the university.

• Organizing firefighting, rescue, first aid and evacuation operations in all cases and circumstances, and determining the necessary equipment and means for this.

• Preparing the required reports in the field of security and submitting them to the competent authority periodically.

• Preparing periodic reports on the administration, its achievements, future plans and the most prominent obstacles.

• Any other tasks related to the Administration.
