Guidelines for publishing

 

1. Font type in Arabic research should be (Traditional Arabic), size (16) for research text and bold for Titles, margin (14), tables and figures (14),

English research should be (Times New Roman), size (12), margin (10), tables and figures (11). The margins should be shortened as much as possible.

 

2. The Quranic verses should be written according to the electronic Mushaf of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in size (16), and they should be referred to in the text only by mentioning the name of the Surah, then two dots, then the verse number, and it is between square brackets like this: [Al-Baqarah: 175].

 

3. The research should be written according to the scientific methodology and contain the following:

 

- Introduction: include the research topic, problem, questions, limitation, objectives, methodology, and the research plan.

- Previous studies - if any - with clarification of the scientific contribution and the new research.

- Conclusion: include most important results and recommendations, with clarity and consistency with the research objectives.

 

4. The Arabic references included in the research are (Romanized) immediately after their conclusion.

 

5. The appendices are at the end of the research after the references.

 

6. The footnotes are used to refer to the main sources that were used to back the research argument. Footnotes are also used to provide additional information. The journal's policy requires that the footnotes of legal research should not exceed 20% of the contents.

 

7. The journal follows the Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) (https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/sites/files/oxlaw/oscola_4th_edn_hart_2012quic…).

 

8. Footnotes are placed at the bottom of each page, and the numbering continues until the end of the research.

 

9. Books are documented for legal research by mentioning the name of the book, the name of the author, followed by the part and page number.

 

10. For legal research, documentation is as follows:

Author's name, title (edition, publisher, country/year) page number.

 

11. Printed academic journals are documented as follows:

 

If the article is printed, it is cited as a printed article; even if it is online. To refer to a printed journal, the following organization is used:

Author, │"Title of the paper" │ (year) │ Volume │ Name of journal, first page number of the article.

 

- Websites and blogs are documented as follows:

Websites:

 

To cite information from a website, use the following format:

Author | "Title of article" (website, publication date) access date.

If no author is named, use the name of the entity that owns the site, such as an organization or specialized research center.

If no person or organization can be identified as responsible for the page or blog, the footnote begins with the title of the blog. With the access date given.

 

Blogs:

To cite information from a blog, use the following format:

Author, "Entry Title" (Blog Name, Publication Date), Access Date.

For legal research, sources are documented by mentioning the full name of the book followed by the name of the author, then the book information: investigation, publishing house, date of publication, and place.

For legal research:

The author's surname is mentioned first, followed by the author's initials. Note that the author's first names are not included, but only the initials are sufficient.

For sources in English.

Family name, first name of the author, title of the book/thesis, or university dissertation/journal, or periodical (edition, publisher | year).

In joint research: All researchers contributing to the research must provide evidence that shows their agreement to write the research, and they must be qualified to do so, and the sequence of researchers must be agreed upon by consensus of the researchers.
