The Department of Islamic Studies at the College of Education in Zulfi is one the largest departments of the University of Majmaah. The Department has a group of faculty members, lecturers and excellent teaching assistants in various disciplines of Sharia.
The number of students in the bachelor's degree program has exceeded 1800 students. A Master's program for the Koran and its sciences has recently been opened.
The department has great aspirations and hopes of launching an MA and PhD programs in various disciplines of Islamic studies and developing the department to be a college that is capable of meeting the needs of the local as well as the national community.
Finally, I would like to thank the Rector, the Vice-rectors, the Dean of the College of Education in Zulfi and all the dedicated staff for their efforts in this university.
