HE the Vice Rector, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari viewed a presentation for the university virtual environment project "secondlife" and the possibility to take advantage of its services to serve the students. Mr. Fahad Al-Akaizem from the Deanship of e-learning gave a presentation about it, and in the presence of HE the Vice Dean of students’ Affairs of the quality and development, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, and the Vice Dean of e-learning and distance learning for Development and Quality, Dr. Ali Al-Harbi and HE the supervisor of public relations at the university Dr. Osman Al-Saleh and HE the Director of Public relations and Media Mr. Nasser bin Ibrahim Al-Youssef, happiness and Vice Dean of Information Technology for Technical Affairs Mr. Abdullah bin Horan Al-Anzi. Also, HE Dr. Musallam viewed a presentation for some projects at international universities located within the virtual environment.
At the end of the presentation Mr. Fahad Al-Akaizem presented a live view inside the virtual environment for a branch of " Western Australia University", and a number of observations has been recorded for discussion, to be taken into account in the work of this project.
