MU HOSTS A SYMPOSIUM ON ‘INNOVATIONS AND FUTURE OF MARKET AT UNIVERSITIES’

Under the patronage of MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, a symposium was organized by the Vice-Rector’s Office on the theme “ Innovations and Future of Market at Universities” at the main campus.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector, said that organizing this symposium is an evidence of the university’s interest in investing in innovations and discussing the various mechanisms of turning the invention into a product in the market.
The symposium includes several research papers and workshops addressing the main theme. A meeting is also to be held to discuss an invention related to environment. Invitations were sent to sectors interested in this field such as General Department of Environment and Occupational Health, Majmaah Municipality, Commercial and Industrial Chamber and many more.
According to Prof. Al-Dosari, what makes this this symposium distinct is the integration of all papers and workshops in which a variety of topics were addressed.
