The Social Responsibility Observatory is concerned with administering the social responsibility file at the University in terms of monitoring, documentation, developing indicators, analyzing reality, presenting initiatives and making plans for various social responsibility programs.
The observatory is the result of the recommendations of the relevant scientific conferences: the GCC University Forum and the social responsibility (strategic visions and effective practices), hosted by the University.
The aim of the observatory is to raise awareness of social responsibility as a foundation for sustainable development in society, to activate social responsibility practices and initiatives among staff members through partnerships with public and private sector institutions in addition to enhancing joint collaboration with other Observatories at the national, regional and international levels.
The Observatory also contributes to the development of working solutions for social responsibility issues in society through programs aiming to achieve sustainable development in society as well as improving the skills of university staff members and strengthening their patriotism.
