GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OF SCHOOL SAFETY AT MINISTRY OF EDUCATION GAINS CERETIFICATION FOR OSAS 18001:2007

Within the framework of the tendency that the university has to operate actively in the partnership signed with various entities, MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, launched the ceremony during which the General Administration of School Safety (GASS) at the Ministry of Education gained the certification for OSAS 18001:2007. The ceremony was held in the presence of deputy minister of education, Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Asmi and director of traffic department. Gaining this certification was a result of an initiative launched by the university to qualify the GASS to meet the requirements of the certificate.
Dr. Al-Asmi expressed his content with the partnership formed with MU which has a long-standing experience and excellence in the field of safety and occupational health.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between MU and Ministry of Education one year ago with the aim of qualifying the GASS to gain the certification of OSAS 18001:2007. Going through several stages, the GASS has managed to gain the certificate on 15 May 2018.
