On behalf of His Highness the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Al-Angari, Chairman of the university board, His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren chaired the 4th meeting for the academic year 1434/1435 in the conference hall in his office. The meeting was attended by the General Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Mohammad Al-Saleh (via video conference), the university vice-rectors and deans of colleges and deanships. The university vice-rector for higher studies and academic research and the general secretary dr. Mohammad al-Shaya’a stated that His Highness the Rector welcomed all members. The board members congratulated Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari the assigning as a vice-rector as he is always a valuable asset to the University.
Dr. Al-Mogren stressed the importance of proceeding with the same approach employed by the University beside doubling the efforts and exploiting the support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
In the meeting, a number of issues were discussed including the recommendations issued by the committee of scholarship and training during the period from 25/12/1434 to 17/1/1434, the approval of hiring a number of faculty members in various majors and the restructuring the organizational structure of College of Education in Zulfi and College of Science in Zulfi. The restricting shall be reviewed by the University Rector-ship for Educational Affairs and to be submitted for the next board meeting.
A number of academic as well as administrative issues were discussed and endorsed in the meeting in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University.
