ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY WELCOMES A NUMBER OF OFFICIALS

In two different visits, the Astronomical Observatory at Majmaah University welcomed Sheikh Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, Advisor at Royal Court and a Member of the Council of Senior Scholars, and the Minister of Housing, Mr. Majed Al-Huqail.
Welcomed by the Dean of King Salman Institute for Studies and Consulting Services, Prof. Hamad Al-Omran and the Director of the Astronomical Observatory, Mr. Abdullah Al-Khudairi, the two guests were briefed about the astronomical telescopes, the solar system, moon phases and stars. The astronomical dome was visited and an explanation was given about the movement of stars.
The visitors expressed their gratitude with the facilities of the observatory and extended their thanks for the wonderful hospitality.
