Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Harbi from College of Education in Zulfi presented a paper titled “ principles of educational dialogue & its impact on defending the prophet –peace be upon him- via social network”
The conference titled “ The Dialogue & Its Impact on Defending the Prophet-peace be upon him- was held at Imam Mohammad Bin Saud Islamic University from the period 7-8/2/1434H corresponded to 10-11/12/2013.
Dr. Al-Harbi mentioned in his paper that dialogue occupies a high status in our life due to its significance in bonding an intimate relationship with others based on mutual trust and transparency. He also made a reference to a verse in the holy Qur’an talking about dialogue. He emphasized on the revolution caused by social network on individuals in our life where they can express their opinion without restrictions. In his recommendation, Dr. Al-Harbi called for carrying out an applied research to study the extent to which dialogue is run within the dictates of dialogue ethics and to conduct symposiums that aim at promoting the concept of dialogue.
