FIRST SCIENTIFIC EXHIBITION ORGANIZED BY COLLEGE OF SCIENCE IN ZULFI

In a step made by the College of Science in Zulfi at female campus to display the projects, research and inventions carried out by the various academic departments, a scientific exhibition was organized by the College and was launched by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar.
The exhibition included the following sections:
First section: Projects and scientific and applied research by faculty members. The aim of this section is to spot the scientific and research works carried out by faculty members and present them to public.
Second section: Projects and scientific and applied research by students. The aim of this section is to demonstrate the scientific and research potential of students via products, research posters and graduation projects.
Third section: Innovation and scientific experiments by students. This section is divided into two aspects; The first one aims to highlight the outstanding innovative ideas that contribute in improving the quality of products and services offered to community. The other one is intended to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Winning faculty members and students of best projects and research were awarded by the Vice-Rector who extended her thanks to the Dean Dr. Hani Quhaiz as well as to all staff and students for organizing such an exhibition, an initiative that encourages students for innovation and scientific research.
Deputy-Govern over of Zulfi, Mr. Abdelrahman Al-Ghemlas along with a number of government officials have also visited the exhibition where they were welcomed by the dean and briefed of the various sections of the exhibition. This was followed by a discussion of the potential of marketing students’ projects and inventions.
