Based on MU primary role to serve the community and in attempt to achieve the 7th strategic goal related to consolidation of community partnership, the Community Service and Continuous Education Dean’s Office patronized the 5th Knowledge Development Program organized by the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat.
The program, held for the fifth time in row, aims to develop the performance of employees at government sectors and to increase their knowledge in various fields.
23 training courses were conducted in accounting, law, management, self-development, quality and English language skills.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector, who, in a speech delivered in the closing ceremony of the program, emphasized the active and hard role played by the university in serving the community and raising its awareness, led by the Community Service and Continuous Education Dean’s Office.
Dr. Omar Al-Omar, Dean of the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat, commended the efforts of the Community Service Unit at the College, particularly its collaboration with the Dean’s Office of Community Service which resulted in winning MU Prize for community service this year.
Participants in the program were honored at the closing ceremony and they expressed their appreciation to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren for the unlimited support of all initiatives that contribute in consolidating the role of the university in serving this nation.
