MU Rector Dr. Khalid Almuqrin received the staff of the Deanship of Library Affairs, led by Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwaieer to present the annual report of the Deanship and the comprehensive development plan in line with the objectives of the University's Strategic Plan.
The Rector reviewed the achievements of the Central Library and the new facilities along with achievements of the Deanship during the past year.
The Deanship staff also listened to a speech by the Rector, in which he praised the efforts of the Deanship's staff in carrying out the tasks entrusted to them and the work they do to serve students, faculty members and researchers in the colleges of the University.
He also urged them to make more efforts and work on developmental plans that serve the University in the cultural and academic fields. Additionally, he stressed the important role of the Deanship and its great responsibility in spreading science and culture.
For his part, the Dean of Library Affairs thanked the Rector on behalf of the Deanship and its staff for his continuous support.
