CIT TRAINING PROGRAM IMPLEMENTED BY DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE

As part of the Plan of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education for the academic year 1440/1441, the Training Department at the Deanship started the implementation of its training programs targeting community members in the provinces covered by the University's services.

The program began with 25 trainees and preparations are underway to implement the program in the provinces of Majmah, Zulfi and Hawtat Sudair.

CIT is a professional certificate approved by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). The program is supported by the Human Resources Development Fund (Goal).

The Deanship plans to implement a series of professional certification to keep pace with the needs of the labor market and meet the aspirations of community members at Majmah University.

Dean of Continuing Education and Community Service, Dr. Omar Alsharioufi said that the program was one of the quality programs offered by the International Testing Unit at the Deanship as an accredited testing certificate funded by the Human Resources Fund.

The Deanship has approved the training and e-learning bus as a testing center for this certification in order to provide those programs for community members in remote areas.

Dr. Al-Sharioufi praised the team's effort in running the program and also expressed appreciation to the leaders of Majmah University represented by Rector, Dr. Khalid Almuqrin and Vice Rector Prof. Musallam Al Dosari for their unwavering support of the programs and activities of the Deanship to achieve the goals and aspirations of the university and meets the aspirations of the community members.
