DEANSHIP OF IT GETS ISO CERTIFICATION

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, welcomed in his office the Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wenein, the Manager of Information Security, Mohammed Al-Olayan and Mr. Abdel-Aziz Al-Jarayan to congratulate the deanship for attaining the ISO22301 of business continuity management system for three years.
The certification was attained after the deanship has met the highest standards of information security. This success is one of a series of previous achievements including certifications and international awards.
ISO22301 aims to protect against, reduce the likelihood of occurrence, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive incidents when they arise.
At the end of the visit, the Dean of IT Dr. Al-Wenien extended his thanks to the Rector for his guidance and follow-up which paid dividends by attaining this importance certification in line with the Kingdom’s national transformation plan 2020.
