Within the framework of community partnership formed between the university and the Department of Education in Majmaah, the second stage of the initiative ‘Future Researcher’ was launched at the female campus of the College of Medicine under the supervision of Exceptional Initiatives Center. The aim of the initiative is to qualify creative middle and high school students to be researchers.
The first stage of the initiative was held during the second semester of last year during which students were trained with necessary skills to carry out a scientific research including how to identify and analyze a problem, collect data and come up with solutions.
Within this semester, students will receive training on presentation and discussion skills over 4 weeks. One of the students will be selected to present a research in workshop organized by the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the university level.
Six talented students avail themselves of this program under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Abdullah, Associate Professor at the College of Medicine.
