Under the patronage of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education, a children’s library exhibition honoring the world children’s day was held by the Deanship of Library Affairs at Majmaah Mall.
The two-day exhibition was launched by the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer in the presence of the Dean of Community Service and Continues Education, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi.
Children from Insan Association and the University Pioneer Schools were invited to the exhibition which aims to promote the culture of knowledge among the different segments of the society as well as the importance of books and reading among children in particular.
The exhibition had several educational sections for children such as story reading, coloring, intellectual skills, stage, Kinetic games and space.
The exhibition received a large number of children accompanied by their parents.
The Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Al-Shuwayer extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren for his unlimited support to such useful programs that serve the community and contribute in raising children’s awareness. Thanks were also extended by Dr. Al-Shuwayer to the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a for his guidance and to the Dean of Community Service, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi for patronizing this program.
