THE UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONS OF PING PONG AND TENNIS WELCOMED AT MU RECTOR

In the presence of the vice-rector for educational affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih and the dean for student’s affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren welcomed in his office the university students who achieved remarkable results during their participation in ping pong and tennis tournament.
MU Rector congratulated students this achievement and commended their diligence to excel not only in academic study but also in extracurricular activities. The students were awarded medals and memorial photos were taken.
MU table tennis team won the second place - both in singles and doubles – in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation tournament. The university team members, trained by the coach Hisham Othman, are: Sultan Al-Khamis, Nayef Al-Rashid, Musa’ab Al-Issa and Mousa Al-Farhoud. The team was supervised by Mr. Nasser Al-Hanou, Mr. Abdel Aziz Al-Khalaf and Mr. Hussam Al-Rami during the tournament.
The tennis team won the third place in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation tournament. The team members, trained by the coach Abdelwahab Al-Abdelwahab, are: Ahmed Al-Saleh, Hamad Al-Awlah, Abdelkareem Al-Abdelwahab and Abdelrahman Al-Yousef.
The Dean, Dr. Al-Ofaisan extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Al-Muqren for welcoming and supporting the team. Special thanks were also expressed to the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Al-Rumaih for following up the deanship’s activities to serve students.
