WITH 40 STUDENTS IN PUBLIC EDUCATION: DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE ENDS ‘FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS’ INITIATIVE

The Future Entrepreneurs Initiative conducted by the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education (DCSCE) came to an end. 40 students in public education completed the program in entrepreneurship. The selection process of these students was based on standards set by the staff of the initiative.
The program included two lessons and a 20-hour training session which covered the basic skills of entrepreneurship and startups.
As a hands-on training, each student was asked to run a business project at Majmaah Mall for three days in collaboration with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Munsha’at”, which played an effective role in holding the program and honoring students.
Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi, Dean of Community Service, said that this initiative contributes in achieving the kingdom’s vision 2030 related to the increase of community members’ financial and investment awareness.
The initiative was being undertaken by a group of staff from the deanship, led by the vice-dean for student affairs, Dr. Maha Al-Khaltham and the vice-dean for community programs, Dr. Adel Al-Turki.
Students who took part in the initiative extended their thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, for their unlimited support.
