FEDERATED SEARCH PORTAL OF DEANSHIP OF LIBRARY AFFAIRS LAUNCHED BY MU RECTOR

In the presence of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer and his vice, Dr. Musa’ed Al-Harbi, MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren launched in his office the federated search portal (mufind) of the Deanship of Library Affairs.
The portal, which supports faculty members, students, researchers, has several features, including: a single user interface for all available sources (paper or electronic), search in and access all resources of the university, collaboration in content enrichment, online social catalog, empowering researcher with smart tools and supporting all types of searches.
The dean, Dr. Al-Shuwayer extended his thanks to MU Rector and the Vice-Rector for supporting and following-up the progress of the educational and research process which contributed largely in the completion of this project.
