A number of employees of the Deanship of Library Affairs at the University, represented by Mr. Yasser bin Abdullah Al Dahsh, Head of Building and Developing Groups, and Mr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Thumairy, Head of User Services Department, and Mr. Abdulrahman bin Nasser Al Saleh from the Department of Technical Procedures , have participated in the first scientific forum for the workers in the libraries at the Saudi University, which is hosted by the University of Al Jouf during the period 26-27/04/-1435 H , and included a number of papers and workshops on the sidelines of the forum, where a number of aspects have been discussed that pertain to the university libraries at the Saudi universities , including the experience of supply in the Saudi libraries and indexing , classification, audio and visual means as well as the latest developments , challenges and aspirations of the digital educational technologies at the Saudi libraries and other topics. Therefore, the participants in this forum expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Dean of Library Affairs at the University of Al Jouf, Dr Suliman Al Riyaei for this initiative to establish this first forum for the workers in the Saudi libraries , also they extended their thanks to His Excellency the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Shayae and the Dean of Library Affairs , Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al Omran to provide an opportunity to participate and attend this event to benefit from the expertise offered by the universities in order to improve the work at the Technical Departments at the libraries of Majmaah University. The participants have appreciated the initiative of the Deanship of Library Affairs at the University of Al Jouf for the establishment of this forum , which brought together a group of workers at the Saudi universities .
