The Committee of Deans of Colleges of Applied Medical Sciences in Saudi universities has held its seventh meeting in the university campus , the meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Commission , Dr. Abdullah bin Fraih Al Enzi, in the presence of Vice- Chairman of the Committee , Dr Hamdan Al-Mohammad , and the Secretary of the Commission , Dr. Hussein Aal Mohi , and more than twenty Deans of Faculties of Applied Medical Sciences. Therefore, the meeting has discussed a number of topics on the agenda of follow-up the implementation of the recommendations of the previous meetings , and the new aspects associated with the academic field , and the mechanism of action , in addition to the unification of certain regulations and procedures in the Colleges , where the Committee recommended at the end of the meeting the standardization of disciplines nomenclatures for a number of (16) Specialization in Arabic and English , in addition to change the name of internship student into internship specialist, and the formation of a Committee for Clinical Training , rules and evaluation mechanisms , and to invite the President of the Scientific Board for Applied Medical Specialities to attend the next meeting , in addition to the coordination in the implementation of workshops among the Colleges and make use of them electronically via the Site of the Commission. At the end of the session, his Excellency the Rector of Majmaah University, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, has met the Deans of Colleges and welcomed them in the University campus , and thanked them for accepting the invitation and attending this meeting , and emphasized that the university is honoured to host the elite of young Saudis who are leading the Faculties of Applied Medical Sciences in the Kingdom , and the hopes are pinning on them to make a lot of efforts for these important Colleges, and lead these Colleges to wider horizons , and whatever they provide is a service to the country, community, and future generations as well , and that the bet is permanently on Saudi youth who is capable of achieving a lot of hopes and aspirations , where there are - Thank God – brilliant models in all sectors of the state that have achieved leadership in a number of areas. His Excellency stressed that these meetings are a good chance to provide an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and expertise among the Saudi universities , and the University of Majmaah takes benefit from this kind of hosting , considering all Saudi universities are partners of the University of Majmaah in its successes since the stages of its first foundation. His Excellency expressed his thanks for Dr. Nasser bin Ali Al-Jarallah - Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Majmaah - for inviting the Deans to this meeting at the University of Majmaah. Moreover, His Excellency has displayed some of the achievements of the University , raising his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques , and His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Crown of the Crown Prince of what they provide to the Universities of support , and what they provide of possibilities , as well as the thanks extended to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, and his deputy of what they provide of efforts and follow-up . After that his Excellency the Rector of University thanked God for the privileges that this country has of security, safety, and stability , then the Chairman of the Committee , Dr. Abdullah bin Fraih Al Enzi has delivered a speech in which he thanked all the employees of the University of Majmaah , headed by his Excellency the Rector of the University for this hosting , and on what they found of good reception and hospitality , confirming that the presence of his Excellency the Rector of the University is a culmination of the efforts of the Committee and its work, recalling the difficulties of colleges, their requirements and needs. Finally he concluded that under the guidance of their Excellencies the Rectors of the Universities, the Commission was able to accomplish a number of the important works , as well as a number of recommendations which will , God willing, contribute to the lifting of the competencies and the capabilities of these colleges and achieve their requirements.
