Under the patronage of His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren, a launching ceremony was held at the university auditorium in conjunction with the day of quality and excellence the award of the rector for quality and excellence. The ceremony was also attended by the Their Excellency vice-rectors, deans of colleges and deanships as well as directors of administrations.
The dean of quality and skills development, Dr. Khalid Al-Jarallah delivered a speech where he provided a review about the award, its objectives and the criteria of the award. He added that the underlying purpose of this award is to encourage students, faculty members and staff to upgrade their level of quality.
The vice-rector for academic affairs, Prof. Mohammad Al-Rukban talked about the project of qualifying the university to obtain the quality accreditation followed by a film about the development of the quality deanship and the programs offered by the deanship.
Addressing the audience, His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren gave a speech where he extended his thanks to the deanship of quality and skills development for their efforts. He also congratulated winners of the award and encouraged all students, faculty members and staff to compete in winning this award as it will eventually contribute in the development of the university.
