In line with the role played by MU to teach students Quran, the university launched an e-Maqraa to create a remote environment conducive to reciting and memorizing Qura’an. The e-Maqraa also aims to qualify students to obtain an Ijazah, a permission to teach the psalmody Holy Quran as it has been recited by the Prophet Muhammed – peach be upon him.
The program has two tracks: one for obtaining Ijazah and the other one for reciting and memorizing Quran.
Through virtual classes, students are monitored by teachers who will determine whether or not students are serious and committed about learning.
Students who are interested to join the program must have a computer and good internet connection. The program is conducted daily for 2 hours during evening time, except Friday.
Those who pass the program successfully will be awarded a certificate and amount of money.
