The Center for Family and Children at the University Social Responsibility Observatory launched an initiative titled “Supporting the Family Educationally during Novel COVID-19 Pandemic” by holding awareness lectures about the family in general and children in particular.
The initiative was held at the request of MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin to provide community programs during COVID-19 pandemic, and within the framework of the partnership with the Women's Committee for Community Development and in cooperation with the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning at the University.
The lectures, which already started on Sunday, 24 -Ramadan 1441, will be presented remotely over eight weeks every Sunday with experts giving their insights concerning related issues.
On this occasion, MU Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al Dosari, stated that the initiative is part of the University educational efforts that began with the onset of the pandemic aiming to spread awareness among families and children.
“With the full support of MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin, the University is constantly working to reach varied segments of community” Prof. Musallam stressed.
Prof. Musallam thanked MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin, for his continued support of all community activities on and off-campus. He also appreciated the efforts of the team working on the initiative.
