At the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, and the follow-up of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, the Department of Scholarship for non-Saudis followed-up the procedures of students’ departure to their countries.
Given the current pandemic and the suspension of international flights, the department coordinated with concerned sectors to facilitate the process of travel prior the end of the academic year and based on a plan that features all details related to number of students and the countries as well as the initial flight date.
First batch of students flied to Nigeria in Ramadan followed by flights to Malaysia, Thailand, Kosovo, Tanzania and Pakistan. Coordination is underway to help the remaining students to travel soon.
The students expressed their thanks to MU Rector for this gesture, hoping that the Kingdom and its citizens will be safeguarded from this pandemic.
The Deanship of Student Affairs at MU is responsible of 136 students from different countries. The students receive special care through a department established particularly to provide them with the best health nutrition, guidance and cultural social and sports activities.
The Dean of Student Affairs extended his thanks to MU Rector for his support and follow-up of international students’ matters.
