In line with the instructions provided by the University for Safe Return to school, a meeting was chaired by the acting rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, in the presence of the vice-rector for educational affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Obudi and the vice-rector female student affairs, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, and deans.
The meeting addressed the instructions supplied by the Ministry of Education and an executive mechanism and a plan were worked out prior the return to face to face classes. The plan includes urging students and faculty members to take two doses of vaccines.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of launching a vaccine center at the university campus in Zulfi.
Prof. Al-Dosari assigned vice-rectors to visit the university facilities to ensure all requirements of safety are met.
