FIVE YEARS PASSED SINCE THE ESTABLISHMENT DECREE OF THE UNIVERSITY

Today, the 3rd of Ramadan is the fifth anniversary for the establishment of Majmaah University in which the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz endorsed the establishment of the university. The five years were full of achievement and contribution to the society and all this due to the generous support and guidance received by the leadership of this country as well as the competent administrative and academic leaders who exerted a great deal of efforts to provide the university with all the necessary facilities that will make it a successful institution. The university serves a large number of regions including Majmaah, Zulfi, Ghat, Remah and Hawtat Sudair. The purpose of establishing the university is to cover the large number of high school graduates. The university includes 9 colleges at the time of establishment and now becomes 13 colleges. Moreover, a number of batches have graduated from the university. It is worth mentioning, that the plan of the new campus has already been set in accordance with the most updated renowned universities. All the above mentioned achievements are attributed to the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the follow-up of the minister of Higher Education and his deputy.
