THE RECTOR EXPRESSES HIS THANKS TO THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES AND HIS HIGHNESS THE CROWN PRINCE

His Excellency the Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, expressed his thanks and appreciations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz,-May Allah protect them-for what the Ministry of Higher Education does receive of generous support and patronage from them, as well as what the university does have of   support, capabilities, equipment, projects, and buildings that will all  contribute to the progress and advancement of the university. All that came simultaneously with the signature of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari, a group of new project contracts at the university in a number of regions and governorates, including a project contract for the construction of a building for the College of Education in Majmaah, and a project contract for the construction of Student Accommodation in the university city  in Majmaah, therefore, this signature for these two projects comes to complete what has been signed for and the length of the implementation of these two projects is 3 years. His Excellency the Rector of the university commended on the great efforts of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari, and His Excellency the deputy, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saif, on what they are doing of efforts and the giving service provided by them to the Saudi universities and the pursuit of the development of higher education and progress it. The Rector also expressed in a statement about his gratitude to these two projects, saying that the signing for the establishment of the College of Education and student accommodation building is a continuation of the unlimited support received by the university, also it reflects an honesty willing and piercing vision of the leadership of this country –May Allah protect them - to raise up the level of higher education, and the utmost attention to infrastructure, facilities, headquarters, equipment and techniques, explaining that these two projects come in a series of future projects of the university, which will further progress, and will enable the university to achieve its planned objectives , and it is an important step in its career. Also these two projects represent a historical leap to complete what has been done of the university infrastructure, and a quantum leap to what would be provided by these two projects of possibilities and modern equipment cope with the highest standards in the field of constructions of university education to help male and female students- since they are the focus of the academic and the education fields – on innovation and excellence, and the taking into consideration the reasons for success and excellence to let these two projects to contribute to find an environment that helps in raising up the level of educational attainment, cultivation of talents, capacity development, and skills development to graduate generations of male and female students of this community, breathe in the elevation of religion and the service of the nation. Furthermore, the student accommodation project will provide a great service to our students for greater social and psychological stability, which will impact on the level of educational attainment, God willing, also his Excellency the Rector has pointed out that his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education has signed over the last two years several projects belonging to the university, including the construction of support business project in the colleges complex in Zulfi, and the project of Faculty of Medicine building, and the work is under way in the establishment of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, as well as the administration building and the Deanships at the university and the faculty members accommodation, as has been the signing of contract for the construction of the College of Business Administration in Majmaah and the College of Education in Zulfi, as well as the College of Dentistry in Zulfi, and the furnishing and equipping of these colleges and laboratories, and the establishment of dental clinics in the Faculty of Dentistry in Zulfi, and the phase II project to create a public site in the university, and the support business project for desalination plants, wells and sewage treatment for the university city, as well as the support businesses project for desalination plants, wells, and sewage treatment in the colleges complex in Zulfi. Consequently, all of these projects come within the system of the university projects that predict for a brighter and more distinctive future, God willing, to this university to materialize the objectives that the Ministry of Higher Education is attempting to , where the Ministry confirms on these objectives through all its agencies and departments under the generous support and patronage of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques- May Allah protect him-.
