In compliance with the university concern about the special needs who require special care in certain aspects that the university is capable of undertaking, the university is activating the project of preparing the university setting for special needs. The project was undertaken by the committee of preparing the university setting for special needs which is chaired by Dr. Adel Al-Mogzoi and the membership of Dr. Abdullah Al-Shehri, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Naser, Miss. Doua’a Al-Hazmi and the student Mohammad Al-Mutairi.
His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren received in his office the Vice-Rector Dr. Musallam Al-Dosair who is the general supervisor of the project along with his deputy, the chairman and the students Mohammad Al-Mutairi. Dr. Al-Mugren was briefed about the project and the steps that will be taken to achieve the project. A speech was given by the Rector who stressed the importance of this category of people who should be given a special care by overcoming all difficulties that may encounter them to pursue their higher education. eventually, the student Al-Mutairi was gifted with an educational device that suit his special needs.
