University students have finished their participations in the service of pilgrims during Hajj season of this year through their participations in (40) students. Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al Gumaizy, has stated that this participation comes under the directives of his Excellency the Rector of the university, and as an extension of the participations provided by the government in the service of pilgrims, where (20) students of Health Colleges students at the university with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, represented in its medical committee, have participated in this service. Therefore, they provided ambulance and health services to the pilgrims in the Holy Mosque, in Mina and in Muzdalifah. Dr. Al Gumaizy has pointed that the participating students have received numerous of necessary practical trainings before their active participation in this service. Hence, Dr. Al Gumaizy has clarified that the students have all the tools of medical knowledge in the specialty of Emergency Medicine, and were ready to participate in any crisis, God forbid; pointing out that the majority of the students have been enrolled in various healthy voluntary works in the regions of the Kingdom.
