The College of Dentistry has hosted members of the local council, headed by His Excellency the Governor of the Zulfi province; Faihan bin Abdulaziz bin Labda. The Dean Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Alotram was in their reception and together they toured the college departments. First, His Excellency the dean welcomed the governor and the local council members and conveyed the Rector’s greetings and pleasure for having such useful and productive meetings, which so far have resulted in the cooperation between the province operating sectors and the college. After that, a documentary film was displayed about the college achievements during the last period, followed by His Excellency the Governor’s speech in which he welcomed the attendees and expressed his gratefulness towards those who are in charge of education development. He then thanked the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Almoqrin for his endeavors, contributions and continuous support of all the university educational and administrative sectors. This was followed by a tour of all the college facilities which have witnessed a remarkable improvement in spite of its new inception. This improvement covered the simulation education labs, the biochemistry and micro biological labs as well as the modern dental industry laboratories. After that every one visited the educational and therapeutic clinics as well as the sustaining departments (X panoramic and nuclear Department The sterilization center) and learnt about the educational and therapeutic services they offer to our students as well as the province citizens. Afterward, the council members took a quick look on the under construction projects like the female clinics and their extensions. At the end of the visit, His Excellency the governor thanked the Dean for the warm welcoming and expressed his pride with the college modern equipments, high quality laboratories and advanced clinics that contribute to community service and the establishment of partnerships between the college on one hand, and the province public and private sectors on the other hand that would improve science and education.
