An awareness campaign was held by the college of medicine and medical services in cooperation with Zahrah Organization for Breast Cancer titled (Protect Yourself). The campaign which was supervised and organized by the public relation & media of the university has included a number pavilions for distributing brochures and gifts to visitors about the program. A symposium was also held which focused on the importance of early awareness about breast cancer, the causes of this disease, how it was discovered, the types of Cancerous tumor and important precautions to avoid infection. The symposium also included other aspects pertinent to breast cancer. The campaign was concluded with appreciations and thanks extended by Miss. Badriah Al-Seif to everyone who contributed in making this campaign successful.
