As the medical college is always concern about participating in conferences and symposiums, it participated in the 2nd international conference on Alzheimer. Dr. Islam Shuoosha represented the college as a speaker. The purpose of the conference is promote the awareness in public about the Alzheimer disease. His Royal Highness, Prince Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the honorary director of Saudi Alzheimer’s Diseases Association awarded Dr. Shuoosha, assistant professor of Neurosurgery for his effective participation. Dr. Shuoosha gave an overview about the disease and the best ways of diagnosing it using international standards of memory loss and dementia and to apply them on patients in Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Dr. Najeeb Qadi and Dr. Fahad Al-Wahhabi.
