Nineteen students from the second batch of students in the preparatory year program for the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry of the University attained high grades in the British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at the beginning of the second semester for the current year 1432/1433H. As eight Students got 4.5 degrees out of 5 degrees, ten students got 5 degrees out of 6 degrees and one student got 6 degrees out of 6 degrees. This means that 11 students got their degrees within half of the required period to pass the tests by the end of the preparatory year. The above good news were mentioned by Dr. Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansour, general supervisor of the preparatory year program for the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry. He added that the English language program for the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry is managed by distinguished group of the teaching staff and that the program was built under supervision of a group of British & American experts with another distinguished group of Arab experts. Such outstanding results were not possible without the help of God, the direct support of Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqrin, the Vice Rector Dr. Ibrahin Bin Abdulrahman Al Huqail and the continuous tireless efforts of the teaching staff and students as well. The program Supervisor added that the university provides the students with all the direct and indirect supporting tools starting from free books to scholarship programs for Britain during summer and the cultural & social programs which are held and on a regular basis throughout the study year.
