On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Abdullah Al-Sabbti, Chairman of the university board, the 4th meeting of the academic year 1435/1436 was chaired by His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren in the conference hall in his office. The meeting was attended by the General Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Mohammad Al-Saleh (via video conference), the university vice-rector and deans of colleges and deanships. The university vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research and the general secretary dr. Mohammad al-Shaya’a stated that His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren inaugurated the meeting by extending thanks and appreciations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and His Crown Prince for what has been allocated to the university from the general budget of the country. Congratulations were also expressed to His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Rumeih for being appointed as a vice-rector of academic affairs. The board also extended thanks to Prof. Mohammad Al-Rukban for his invaluable efforts during his tenure. The board also expressed thanks and appreciations to the various achievements made by the university in many fields. The board has also discussed the issue of recruiting a number of lecturers in a number of fields. The final report of scholarship and training committee for the academic year 1435/1436 was also reviewed.
