As per instructions of His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Muqrin and in a new leap for the faculty of medicine in the field of scientific research, the University, represented by the faculty of medicine and the deanship of student affairs, participated in the 9th scientific conference of medical students from The Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC) in The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in Al Ain. The conference took place from 4-8 pm in 3\1436 where ten students from the MU faculty of medicine contributed to the conference with seven medical studies; the faculty has also managed the MU pavilion associated with the conference. In addition to the students the university delegation in the conference was represented by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Educational Affairs in the college, Dr. Mansour K. Al-Zahrani, the Director of students affairs, Mr. Ahmad Al-Eslan and Mr. Esa Al-Esa from the Deanship of Student Affairs. All of these achievements come as an extension to the directive of his Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Muqrin to encourage and motivate the students to aspire towards excellence in the field of scientific research.
