The contract for the construction of supporting buildings in the university city in collaboration with Anwar Mouj Al Khalij for Contracting has been signed in the indoor auditorium, under the auspices of his Excellency the Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, and in the presence of their Excellency Vice Rectors of the University , as well as in the presence of a number of Deans of Colleges and supporting Deanships, heads of departments, and employees of the university, as well as the signing of supervision contract to establish the supporting buildings in the university city with Al Roukn Engineering Consultants, therefore, the ceremony began with a speech by the Director of Projects Directorate and Technical Affairs, Eng. Fauzan bin Mohammed Al-Fahad, where he welcomed the attendees, and shed light on this project, where he stated that this project is located in the university city in Majmaah City with an area of 157,000 km2.. Therefore, this project includes the public site, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, College of community, and College of Education, where each college has classrooms, educational labs, and offices for faculty members and administrators body, so that the project is to be delivered within 20 months from the date of receipt of the site, and the cost of construction contract for this project is amounted (99.616.527) Saudi Riyals, as the cost of supervision contract on the implementation of the project is amounted (2.960.000) Saudi Riyals. Eng. Fauzan added that this effort would not have been done without the help of God Almighty and the great support and assistance of his Excellency the Rector of the University, as well as the follow-up and guidance of His Excellency the Vice Rector of the University. At the end of his speech, he expressed his thanks to the workers at the General Directorate for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and the Chairman and members of Bid Evaluation Committee, and the Opening Bids Committee on the touchable and constructive cooperation. Then his Excellency the Rector of the University delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, and expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Interior His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, for the continuous support received by the university, which enabled the university to elevate its achievements to serve the nation and the citizens, and this is so clear in what is being signed today, which is considered as an addition to the many achievements of the university, which also achieves quantum leap of the infrastructure at the university with one of the qualified national companies, which is hoped to be a distinctive partner to our university. At the end of his speech, he expressed his thanks to the workers in the Vice Presidency and Finance Department, as well as the Bid Evaluation Committee, and the Opening Bids Committee, where they worked hard and made continuous effort to achieve this step, as he noted the support that the University receives from the Ministry of Finance. After that his Excellency the Rector of the University and the Executive Chairman of Anwar Mouj Al Khalij for Contracting signed the contract for the construction of supporting buildings in the university city , as well as the signing of supervision contract on the establishment of the supporting buildings in the university city with Al Roukn Engineering Consultants.
