The University Board 5th meeting for the academic year 1435/1436 was chaired by the University Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren (on behalf of the Minister of Education, Dr. Azzam Mohammed Al-Dukheil) in the conference hall with the presence of vice-rectos and deans of faculties and supported deanships.
The University Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and the General Secretary Dr. Mohammad al-Shayae stated that the meeting was launched by offering condolence for the loss of the predecessor ruler, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. The board also expressed congratulations to the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and His Crown Prince Muqren Bin Abdul Aziz. Congratulations were also extended to Dr. Azzam Mohammed Al-Dukheil for being appointed as a Minister of Education.
The board discussed a number of topics including The final report of scholarship and training committee for the academic year 1435/1436, the renewal of some faculty members’ contracts as well as some administrative and academic issues that are of great concern to the university.
