The female campus of the College of Computer and Information Sciences held in cooperation with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control a seminar entitled “Sensitizing Against the Disadvantages of Narcotics’”. The event witnessed also the inauguration of an exhibition which included photo models, and pictures on smoking and its nuisances and on narcotics and their numerous harms on the human body and brain.
The seminar started with a recitation of Koranic verses, then the vice dean Mrs. Iman Lokmani delivered a speech on narcotics and their harms. After that the event convener Mrs. Samia Motiri talked about the role of media in sensitizing people and particularly younger generations to the subject. The floor was then given to Mrs. Samira Eshahri from the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to deliver a lecture entitled “Narcotics: types, disadvantages and prevention”.
