Headed by Majmaah University Rector’s office manager Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al-Rashoud, The Committee of the Rector’s prize for distinct faculty and staff sub-sites held its third meeting with the committee members on Sunday 02/06/1436. During the meeting, latest developments in the 3 branches of the prize - for distinct sub-sites, outstanding faculty and staff sites and electronic publications website- were discussed. Then preliminary results were introduced. In addition, the committee reviewed the process of evaluation and statistics; all criteria are normally calculated automatically before a team reviews them manually to ensure the accuracy of the results.
The departments that have not yet sent their statistics forms in the predefined deadline were excluded from the review although they have received notifications following the meeting. Preliminary results have been approved by the committee, and recommendations of their distribution to the relevant departments have been made.
Then the committee reviewed the latest developments in the prize evaluation of the sub-sites of electronic research publication in addition to the process of assessment and the registration procedures given that registration for this prize has been also opened . Later in the meeting, the recent developments in the distinguished faculty and university staff sub-sites were discussed. The committee examined a comparison between the number of sub-sites before and after the announcement of the prize, and the achievements made until the current date.
Finally, the proposed time of the prize with arrangements of the celebration was discussed.
