Headed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Shaye, Chairman of the Scientific Council and Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Scientific Council at the Department of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at Majmaah University held its twentieth meeting of the academic year 1435/1436 H. with its members.
Dr. Al-Shaye explained that seeking more academic Saudization of jobs and providing the university with several distinguished faculty members cadres in various disciplines, Majmaah University Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin approved the appointment of Dr. Majid Suleiman Omari as assistant-professor at the Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, the appointment of Dr. Fahad Al Minie as assistant-professor at the Islamic Studies Department in the Faculty of Education in Zulfi, and the appointment of Dr. Abdul Rahman Ahmad Al-Shiqir as assistant-professor at the Department of Arabic Language in the Faculty of Education in Zulfi
Furthermore, Dr. Muqrin approved the promotion of Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman Al-Tuwijri to associate-professor at the Department of Educational Sciences in the Faculty of Education in Majmaah. Moreover, several requests of promotion from a number of faculty members were approved pending the completion of promotion procedure.
